Welding and Cutting Gallery:
This gallery is a collection of automotive repair welding and cutting photos that I took for use in training courses and promotional materials. I used a Canon, Sony or Panasonic DSLR camera for all of these. I enjoy playing with different ISO, f-stop, and shutter speed settings to get interesting effects with welding and grinding sparks. Some of these photos were used in marketing materials and social media graphics.
Custom Painting Gallery:
I took this sequence of photos which shows the major steps in creating a custom paint effect. (In this case, silver flames on a red background, using positive masking.) These were shot on a Canon DSLR and used in a training course on custom painting effects. They were also used in social media and product marketing campaigns.
Live Training Gallery:
This gallery is a sequence that I shot using a Sony DSLR camera. The photos document a live training event that was conducted for first responders. At the event, I was tasked with taking photos of the action as it unfolded. I was able to get some interesting photos even though part of the shoot was conducted at night. I also was tasked with shooting video while the vehicle was burning, so I figured out a way to trigger the still camera to take a photo as the firefighters approached the fully involved vehicle.
